PEOPLE

Halchem Lanka "Crew" consist of an integrated team of approx. 17 personnel, on permanent capacity and when combined, have many years of related experience between them.

Some of the main crew members are :-

Cyril Halloluwa -Managing Director - Graduate in Bio science. Started carrier at Govt. .Owned BCC LTD, in the Fire Engineering Division as Management Training 1980. Within the Four years of service at BCC, he gained his training in UK at Chubb Fire Security Ltd. and in Singapore Chubb (S) Pte LTD, in the field of fire engineering including Marketing. During this period, he has obtained his Diploma in Marketing at the Polytechnic Institute. Within the same period he joined the Institute of Fire Engineers UK. After five years of service for Chubb under BCC umbrella, he joined "Angus" team in Sri Lanka.

MARKET

When Halchem was incorporated, we started with NIL customer base in Sri Lanka. To day we protect most of the prestigious companies. Apart from the engineering staff, we have field sales force and now we are in the process of expanding the Field Sales force to cover a wider area. Having over 60 compatitors, we are very proud of our entire team, who dose better than all the others adding at least two new customers to our list in every week month. Our policy to do only what we can and capable of doing. We never try to do things that we can't do. But we always do better with what we undertake for their continous progress.

As we do only the equipment and systems to EN requirements, our customers are limited. They are the one who is more concern about the protection for their Investment, Property and their employees. They also like to know the development in the field of fire engineering. UK and USA has the best R & D facilities in this field, where we have the easy access.

We have created a new discussion on personal protecton equipment (PPE) and gas detection with the worlds best manufacturer "MSA" (Mine Safety Application Co) of USA. They have been transfering new technical know how every time we require in addition to annual progress.

How is the quality guaranteed ?

All product marketed and services provided by Halchem Lanka carries minimum of one year warranty from the commissioning date. In certain cases we provide five years warranty. All the materiel and equipment use or sell are tested for quality, before delivering or commissioning. Free periodical inspection is provided during the warranty period, intervals are mutually agreed with the client.

We also train staff of clients, incounsultation with colombo fire service.
